Designers On Display - The Pearls Umhlanga

We certainly ended the year off on a high note. Designers on Display at the Pearls was a great success, with over 4000 visitors visiting the stylishly decorated apartments, six of which were exquisitely decorated by some of KZN’s finest interior Designers including Union3, Nikki Rolfe Interiors, Red Jade, North Shore Designs, Living Image and Design Ahead. Those that enjoy shopping certainly came to the right place, as we showcased a hand-picked selection of exclusive jewellery, clothing and décor boutique collections at the show. The retail outlets reported brisk sales throughout the weekend with many running low on stock on the second day (!), while the designers were overwhelmed with the level of exposure and awareness the show provided.

The Penthouse restaurant ‘in the sky’, decorated by Frans Alexander Interiors and run by Beanbag Bohemia Concept Chefs, proved to be the hottest spot for the entire four days, as visitors indulged in copious quantities of oysters and Champagne and Bistro-style meals, while taking in the magnificent sea views and listening to live Jazz by local outfit ‘BeatRoute’. Thank you to everyone involved, all of whom contributed to the shows success. Thank you so very much to those that visited the show, its always such a pleasure to get out from behind the desk and get to meet you!

2010 and Beyond

The dust has barely settled following our latest show at The Pearls, Umhlanga, and we have already hit the ground running! We have some very exciting plans in the pipeline, growing the team working on www.everythingforthehome.co.za in order to ensure that it becomes the most comprehensive and useful source of home / Garden and Lifestyle related products and people, taking the show nationally, and working on Designer Lifestyle, our décor & lifestyle related TV Programme - and that’s not including working on our next show in KZN. And you all thought we just sit around and ‘do lunch’ in between shows! Chance would be a fine thing. We’ll keep you posted.
