Your wedding day should project
your unique individuality...
We believe the overall theme of your wedding should be an
extension of the personalities of the bride and groom. It
should be an experience that captures your true essence, which
should be tangible from the design of the invitation right
through to your departure at the end of the reception. The
expectations of your guests have to be exceeded by far.
Our specialty is making arrangements for overseas brides,
grooms and guests. An extensive database with a comprehensive
list of the finest service providers ensures that your dream
day is turned into a breathtaking reality. We ensure proper
correlation between the individual preferences and style of
the bride and groom on the one hand and the style and personalities
of service providers on the other.
We believe that it is of the utmost importance that we take
note of the trends set around the world. It is even more stimulating
to be a trend setter!
On your big day, we will personally be present to oversee
every detail of the final arrangements of your wedding, and
ensure perfection, harmony and an overall enjoyable experience
for you, your family and guests.

Awesome SA launched their book this week
- a coffee table book with a smile. It’s not one
of those stereotype sombre, silent books that burden
your eyelids. It’s bright, it’s loud and
it is good for everyone from the grandchild to the grand oupa.
In a nutshell it is entertaining, humorous, yet in a simple
way it is really deep.

Touchwood Interiors is filled with unusual
and exotic décor & furniture sourced locally &
abroad, thus assembling a diverse collection to delight those
who love to decorate their homes.
We stock a stunning range of “shabby chic” furniture
with a French Flair!
Through interaction with our customers we have found that
many homeowners are looking for designs that are unique and
not in abundance within the décor market. The trend
is moving towards sourcing unusual, handcrafted “one
off” pieces which reflect an individual style and an

Home Alignment is applied to the balancing
of spaces, whether it be domestic homes, commercial buildings
or the land. The home/office is an extension of one-self and
reflects aspects of ourselves going back to our early experiences,
influencing our relationship with our personal space, home
space, the environment and the cosmos.
 |
 |
| |
THE
BALANCING PROCEDURE of the building is done
on the building plan and involves all the occupants
of the home, office or organisation. The client
is first taken through certain procedures to
bring them into alignment with their personal
space (their physical body) in preparation for
alignment with their home/work space. The building
is then assessed and balanced for geopathic
stress and electromagnetic radiation, as well
as any other negative influences. For more information
or to make a booking, please contact Christine

Testimonial
from Grant Webster Design Director and Owner of FHD
‘I understand that unseen energies can have
detrimental effects on people's health and also impact
the quality of our internal and external business
relationships. So I engaged the services of Christine
Hardy as an Energy consultant and healer to maximise
the full potential of my business.
Christine worked from floor plans and on site
in order to establish the energy patterns and identify
positive and negative areas and influences.
Prior to moving into the new premises, Christine
indentified problematic areas from the floor plan
such as electrical sub stations located under the
building, along with Geopathic stress which was
caused by a black stream (organic waste) in main
sewerage pipes running under the building where
our offices are located. Christine was able to harmonise
the energy frequencies and make them more compatible
with the body's energy system. Individual members
of staff were muscle tested (a form of kinesiology)
to assess the effectiveness of this process.
I found Christine pleasant and professional and
recommend her for this work. We will be recommending
Christine to our clients, especially when they relocate
to new offices as a means of promoting harmony and
growth, as this is part of our holistic approach
to office interior design, something I believe in
myself, and actively promote’.

Thora Mansfield of The Open Door Crisis
Care Centre has a direct relationship with Addington Hospital’s
chief district surgeon who is in charge of the trauma section
and deals with trauma, rape, domestic violence, child section
abuse, incest etc.
They are trying desperately to upgrade the children’s
section of the trauma room and have also been asked to restore
one of the recovery rooms for children. The current
room is dingy and in desperate need of upliftment. Their major
concern is the entrance to the trauma section. It in no way
encourages and uplifts the desperate moms and dads who bring
their traumatized children for treatment. It needs paint,
ideally two concrete pots, possibly with silk trees in as
watering may be a problem, and an attractive, inviting
colour on the entrance door.

The Umcebo
Trust have recently launched their new Soft Sculpture
Programme. Maureen Graham, our newest crafter has taken
scrap fabric, and has started work on a brand new range
of work, which will be launched at the 2011 Cape Town
Design Indaba.
Maureen is creating a range of plants and animals, which
will populate a fantasy midnight garden in KZN. The
idea is to show the power and potential of recycling,
and to develop Umcebo's work in new and exciting areas.
" I never thought I could do this, and I cannot
wait to get to work in the mornings," says Maureen
from behind a large beaded and hand stitched fabric
aloe.
Please visit our site at www.umcebotrust.co.za,
catch up with us on Facebook, or else pop into our shop
in the uShaka Village Walk. |
