The eighth ‘Designers on Display’ show will be
held in the luxurious surroundings of ‘The Pearls of
Umhlanga’, Durban, from 10-13 December 2009. This
popular décor & lifestyle event will showcase nine
apartments, six of which will be lavishly decorated by KZN’s
finest interior designers; the remaining three will be transformed
into gorgeous shops.
Visitors can enjoy a day of indulgence, viewing stunning décor,
enjoying delicious gourmet food including champagne and oysters
served within the Penthouse apartment twenty-two stories high
and taking in the magnificent sea views while doing their
Christmas shopping.
Entrance is R60 per person.
Opening times are 09:00 - 18:00 daily.

Fat Tuesday Gallery hosts a LOMOGRAPHY exhibition
opening on Friday the 6th of November 2009.
Lomography is a form of photography using negative and
slide film with plastic cameras and lenses to create
highly saturated, spontaneous photographic art.

Talented artists have been creating works inspired
by Africa’s hosting of the tournament and
these works have been recognised as Official Licensed
Products of the 2010 FIFA World Cup™.
Artworks include bronzes, limited edition signed
prints, photographs and woodcuts. These works
combine to form the 2010 Fine Art Collection.
This collection will promote the African arts
industry and the tournament itself.
